| This is what I was talking about down the board. There are fans of Jim who are members of this board and who are influenced by him. Jim endured many obstacles and never gave up. People like Ryan gain strength from Jim's true story. This is why I don't find it necessary to write "NJC" when talking about one of Jim's followers. Ryan has been trying to get "Don Claude Devious: Cannibal Rapture" off the ground for ten years and after enduring so many obstacles, it is about to actually happen. I use the word "obstacles" because of Jacob/The Wolf's use of the word in his brilliant post on Facebook. The Wolf wrote the following really cool comment on Facebook: Jacob Davies: Thats the spirit, great works of art always have obstacles to overcome, look at Bat Out Of Hell, look at how many set backs and negativity Jim and Meat had to through to get that album made. And yet, in retrospect, it makes the albums back ...story all the more truimphant because the ending was happy one. Don Claude will be the same, and the (many) fans the show will undoubtably accumalte will be inspired by the hard ships you've had to over come and not given up. It wont make losses any less painful, but it will give you all the more to talk about when your reunited in the life after this one, at least, thats what I belive. | |
