This is all he has said on the subject. And I think it's a terrible idea. Christmas albums are fine when you're the Spice Girls or Cliff Richard or Rod Steward or Rob Halford or Whitney Carey or Mariah Houston or who have you. Christmas albums filled with 'standards' are nothing but cash-grabs and the sign that you don't have any musical relevance left. The only way I could see this work is with original songs, that don't sound too Christmassy. But why bother, then?
