Anniversary year

Hi! Years ago I posted on the board but for the last years I've been just following the board to see what's going on with Jim. I decided to register now and write about a fact that I haven't seen anyone written about...

This year I have seen special anniversary cd releases from Megadeth (cd released in 1986) and Ozzy (1981), so I thought "hang on a minute!". Both 'Bad For Good' and 'Dead Ringer' were released in 1981 so it's the 30th anniversary of both albums this year. Also, Bonnie's 'Secret Dreams...' was released in 1986 so it's the 25th anniversary of that record.

Surely these Steinman albums deserve some special recognition this year! No record company is going to notice these facts and do anything about it, so how about someone in Jim's "camp" doing something for Jim's fans who follow this board. Open up the vaults, please!

I loved those demos of Jim's 70s songs shared on this board earlier this year. How about doing something similar. I'd love to hear "Jim's version" of 'Dead Ringer' (him singing and playing the piano (especially 'I'll Kill You If You Don't Come Back'), or if there are any Rory Dodd demos of those songs. Same with 'Secret Dreams...' stripped down version without the 80s production.

And lastly,a full, good quality version of Rory's 'A kiss is a terrible thing to waste'. The lost Steinman classic that was never released.
