Vocally it is without doubt the best, but as it is just a demo it does lack some of the production elements of Air Supply & Bonnie.

Agreed and I love how he hammers the bass notes to get a 'rumbling sustain'. I would suggest it needs 'cleaning-up' in a few places, which is probably why Roy Bittan is on 'final' versions.

I think this is definitely Jim's phrasing and obviously Rory could emulate what he wanted, hence why Jim used him a lot.

I like the clarity of Air Supply in the first half of the song, but they don't build vocally or produce the power of Rory's version.

Not sure about the 'make your money double' section. Lyrically I prefer the Bonnie Tyler version.
