I think something else must be holding him back; laziness, health or retirement or a combination of these issues.

This makes no sense as no-one outside of the Meat Loaf / JS fan community has ever heard of Jim Steinman or cares a rat's ass who writes the songs. Most people think it's Meat writing the songs himself. It's maybe sad but this situation is not isolated to the artist Meat Loaf.

Sounds a bit drab to me. Moreover I think Steinman should focus on more personal/current themes if it is NOT a concept album. I think "What part of my body" is a perfect example of this.

Enough with the recycling. If a song writer can't write new songs then what would be the point of a song writer "working" with Meat Loaf.
