I agree pretty much with everything you said.
The only thing I see Steinman do at the moment is post a few links to minor politics related issues on his Facebook page. It simply does not come across as someone who is interested in making music.
Meat has made some awful decisions in his career but the fact that he is working really hard in the music business at his age and with the health related problems he has and has had is quite admirable really.
