I totally agree with all that. I was at the premiere too and I'm more that satisfied, the standing ovation was well earned! The show followed the original German libretto somewhat faithfully, and most of the characters weren't much altered. Actors are all excellent, especially Alfred and the quire parts were exquisite. 'Eternity' gave me massive chills. Don't want to spread spoilers here, so for closer questions please ask :)
