Bat 1 and the Celine album are really cool achievements but what about all the other successful things? Like Jim having the top two spots on the Billboard chart in the same week with "TEOTH" and "MLOONAA". The only time a songwriter has done this with two different acts. And of course, what about the shows? "Whistle" and "Tanz". Also, "Anything For Love" was the top selling UK single of 1993. I have no idea why Jim wasn't inducted last year. They just have to get it right this year. Surely. > You could have BOOH in the box at the top with a blurb > '...in the top three album sales of all time at 43 million > (and counting), and the only album in the top 20 written > by one individual.' > > Then list: > > Bat 2 album sales figures, 'Total Eclipse' (god knows what > it's total sales figures are), 'All Coming Back' etc etc Yes. You are completely right. It does highlight the work with Celine (with "Its All Coming Back To Me Now" - and a line will be added to point out that not only was it number one but that Jim won a Grammy) but as you say, that is not really enough. > I think I'll do my own version. I would be very interested to see what you come up with. | |
