My understanding is that Jim started working-on/arranging the next album with Roy Bittan, rather than Meat, and that pissed him (Meat) off.

I guess Meat felt they would put the album together like Bat 1, but obviously Jim wanted to try a different approach.

Jim blogged that, and I took it as a 'working title'. It's okay but if they do a (final) album, I would hope for a better title.

I don't think music theory is Meat's strong point. Some of Jim's songs are difficult from a breathing/phrasing point-of-view, but (without checking) I think the biggest ranges are 10-12 notes, which is less than two octaves.

I don't know of a song that stretches over 4 octaves.
