Hi Dave, I did that a few months ago, once the SHOF induction was announced. It was unsolicited, in case Jim and/or his team wanted an ad for Billboard, Music Week or the SHOF ceremony programme.
Apparently Jim really liked it but I don't think it was used, which is fine.
The text at the top was supposed to be part of an induction speech I drafted out (and sent to Jacqueline), hoping Meat might do it (theatrically and OTT), but what he did do was great.
The album covers in the poster are everything I could think of that has a songwriting credit. Any covers with just a production credit (ie Billy Squier) were omitted due to lack of space.
I also did the 'Total Eclipse of the Charts' ad (see news and notes) which was in response to an ad that featured in Billboard, following the SHOF nomination. I thought my poster ad had a lot more info in case they wanted to run another ad, prior to the induction confirmation.
