NJC: Generation Terrorists

This week is the twentieth anniversary of Manic Street Preachers' debut album "Generation Terrorists", and being a fan I thought I'd share the love.

Jim hasn't (knowingly) worked with the band - perhaps he has done so unknowingly... *goes off on a fantasy involving Jim being kidnapped and taken to Cardiff circa 1994 and secretly being forced to produce The Holy Bible before being released into the wild with strict instructions never to reveal details of his involvement in said opus* ...right...

Anyway, I remember posting on the foreverdelayed.org.uk forum may moons ago regarding the Steinmanish soundings of "Little Baby Nothing" - basically a duet featuring the lead singer of the band with porn star Traci Lords and some Piano, naive as I was at the time; anything with a Piano and a Porn star constituted "Steinmanish" :p had I much to learn since then...

But seriously, give Generation Terrorists a listen, by hook or by crook, it'll be worth it.
