I know nothing about the politics of theatre, but I'd like to think that you could cast VERY big names and have no loss of creative control. You could cast Rob Evan and have no loss of creative control. You could cast any actor worth their salt and have no loss of creative control.
It's just that bad egg with a whoopsie in his beret that got his knickers in a twist about creative control, right?
