Margoshes composing Fame sequel

I don't know if this is of any interest, but according to his site and an article I just read "Fame Forever" w/ music by Steve Margoshes will premiere at the King's Theatre Glasgow this year. The original "Fame: The Musical" is playing at the Shaftesbury in London (that house is reportedly cursed because no production has ever lasted too long in there) with rumours of the sequel opening there shortly after.

Thoughts? I love Margoshes' work for Jim, and some of his solo stuff, but I've never seen "Fame". It was out here years ago and there are always amateur productions coming up.

QUOTE stevemargoshes.com "Fame Forever warps through thirty years to reveal the fate of the characters in the original musical, now all grown up, and their children who are now the students at the famed School of the Performing Arts."

I must admit I'm excited about "The Phantom Of Manhattan", because it's such a controversial idea, but sequels have never really done well in theatre, examples: "Bring Back Birdie", "Annie 2: Miss Hannigan's Revenge", "Annie Warbucks", "The Best Whorehouse Goes Public" etc.
