Just seen that Jim's posted in 'news & notes' about the object in his Christmas message pic. It's not a Star Trek prop as I suggested.
There is also a new pic of a 'Bat Throne' by the same artist/sculptor.
What an amazing piece of work!!
A Grand Piano shell/body in this style would look fantastic on a stage.
Jim,
When the 'throne' arrives, please try and do a (seated) pic for the website.
