A week in berlin for Tanz.
Where to start.
I was front row for four of the shows and row two and four for the other two all on the left side of the stage
The show is amazing live.No cd or bootleg does it justice.
The stage sets are fantastic and seeing it live you notice things that you can miss when watching the fan shot stuff
I got to see three Von krolocks but Thomas was the best.
Herbert is very funny and seeing him up close just to watch the look on his face during Wenn liebe in dir ist was great.
Some funny moments.At one of the shows rebecca was that mad with chagal that when she went to grab the salami stick, it went flying out of her hands and landed near sarahs bed so she had to use a boot to hit the professor and chagal.
Also there is a bit where during the dance one of the vampires hissed/growled at the professor who is dancing with her.One night he hissed back and left the poor vampire to wipe its face of his spittle.
I did find that the night i was in row 4 that the vocals were a bit low in the mix due to having one of the speaker systems pointing right at us.So we got to hear the music very well.
The hotel i stayed at was right next door to the theatre and has a great photo on their bar wall
I am thinking about heading back over for the final shows later in the year and if you are a Stein fan then to see this show live is a must
