I don't think there will be much story to it, at least based on my preconceptions. I know the show must have changed a lot over the years but based on Jim's other work it doesn't have a cohesive structure. It's very abstract, almost like a series of vignettes, "phases" as they're referred to in "The Dream Engine".

Besides, if it's a linear narrative, hardly none of those songs are going to progress the action in the way that they need to. I really think this will be more of an event with "Neverland" in a sci-fi world being more of a concept. I dunno.

If it's been done a million times, Jim's approach is so psycho (again, based on preconception) that maybe people will forget? After all, by the time they did "Tanz" gothic musicals were all the rage. "Tanz" still became a phenomenon
