The scene is the same except for a couple of small points.
As the professor is trying to break the window The count and alfred are wrestling with a stake half way up the stairs.
The breaking window forces him to let go
The professor stabs The count as he lays on the stairs and they dont pull the drape down in front of the staircase as fast so MC spends a bit more time dieing really as the staircase is raised into its near vertical position
