| I'll write up a proper blog post later but for now I'm practically speechless. What an amazing experience! I'm so glad I had a friend of mine there with me to keep my head on straight. Jim was very, very humble. But also HILARIOUS. The crowd was roaring nonstop! Totally unexpected bonus was Barry Keating reciting the Historian's Speech from "The Dream Engine"! I got to meet Jim, Jacqueline, Barry, and Steven Rinkoff. Jim handed out copies of his 1968 school newspaper article. I had brought a CD for him to sign but I got him to sign the article instead -- a bit more unique and will look good on my wall! Keep an eye on the Amherst website, as a recording of the event should be posted soon.
