Neverland references

I've been obsessed with Peter Pan my whole life, as far back as I can remember. At first, when I started listening to Jim's music, I heard a couple references that took me aback, and I figured they were coincidence. When I learned Jim was also inspired by Neverland, I started listening closer.

"I've got a dream 'bout a boy on a star
Lookin' down upon the rim of the world"

"There are times when I need a new light..."
This one made me cry. 'Light' in Neverland terms refers to your essence, or strength of soul, or life. When Wendy said she didn't believe in fairies, Tink's light went out and as a result nearly died. I'm quite certain Peter also has a light, he's supposed to be a half-blood I think.

There are many others I could find if I bothered to research it. But what I REALLY want to know is this.

"The Wold with the Red Roses" - I am damned convinced this is Wendy's wolf, and I'm not even sure why. I would love to know exactly what this is referencing, or if it's simply supposed to be "dangerous" imagery.
