I concur that some of the pre-Bat stuff was not so great, but once Jim matured as a songwriter even his less amazing songs were still quite good.

I think "Body" is pure genius and a potential masterpiece. I think holding it for an ever waiting show that may never happen instead of having Meat Loaf do it is a huge mistake. But Jim has agreements made that he must keep.

I will say that far more people will hear it if Meat does it than in any other form such as a cast album.I can listen to the live version and immediatley "hear" the full Jim treatment and Meat Loaf vocal in my mind. Te song would seem to be a perfect fit.

Unfortunatley someone else has already been promised the song if it ever gets released.
