I know exactly what you mean. "Original sin" from WTTN is a good rock track. But listen to the original from "Pandora's Box" in comparison. The same was true, for me, for "Nowhere fast" and "Left in the dark", although I possibly prefer Meat's vocal on "Surf's up", not to say that I don't really like Rory's which I do.
