I wonder the same. It sounds as though Jim is actively involved (which an active Jim in itself is exciting)I doubt he is doing day-to-day stuff. Maybe he is "executive producer" and hears the sessions and makes any changes he wants. I can live with anything as long as it has the official "Steinman Seal of Approval" on it.
I do not like other people producing Jim's songs without any involvement from Jim.
