To make sure all views are represented I thought it fair to post some excerpts from another review. This reviewer found the show to be much, much better.
Here are some excerpts:

"I thought the show was great last November .. but last night? Meat astounded me! I said somewhere (and quite possibly here as well), the other week, Meat doesn't come on stage and sing a bunch of songs. He creates, designs, plans, directs, produces and choreographs a night of musical entertainment and spectacle."

"Meat's opening "Rabbit" sequence is brilliant, from when, wearing an old denim jacket, he comes nervously but excitedly shambling on stage with a big grin, having "won" the opportunity to come to Vegas and introduce the Meat show, right through to his business with the clowns He simply IS Rabbit, the Texas oilman .. yes, he pumps gas at the Shell station"

"The stage seemed even more crammed with colour and spectacle; the show is hugely entertaining and funny."

.. and Meat crams 6 hours of entertainment into it! The whole thing seems sharper, more effects brought in .. Frying Pan, besides the imo brilliant screen footage to illustrate every phrase and enhance the balls off the song, now has pyro"

"Meat sang his ass off throughout, from the opening medley to the final Bat when he nailed those high Cs, every one."

"He held the attention of a rapt theatre throughout, and everyone on stage seemed to be having as much fun as those of us in the audience."

"Before the show two Canadians asked me why Meat remains so incredibly popular in the UK, filling big arenas for so many years. I said because he's not just the best rock artist in the world with the best band .. he scripts and delivers a musical every night that fills any theatre or arena and the senses of everyone there with passion, sound, colour, spectacle. He doesn't do concerts .. he does SHOWS!"

"Tonight he proved my point. If anyone left that theatre feeling they were shortchanged or disappointed in any way, they are either prevaricating or simply blind, deaf and unable to appreciate a superb show with at its heart a passionate and talented singer, and gifted comedian and actor, who puts everything he can conceive into a night of superb entertainment. I heard nothing but a buzz of pleasure as I left the theatre and sat outside for some time, watching people coming out and listening to their enthusiasm."
