I was living at my grandmother's at the time. I woke up before anyone else and went downstairs to watch some TV. Back then I didnt really like music very much and though that MTV and VH1 were bad channels because of it. I was scrolling through and came upon this wild, live action Beauty and the Beast music video (which was always my fav Disney film). I watched and noted the artist and album. Heard/saw it a few more times and had it on the Christmas list. Christmas 1994 I got the cassette of Bat 2 from my Aunt. I actually went a few months just listening to Anything for Love before listening to the rest of the album. It was good timing too because a few live meat loaf concerts aired at that time on VH1. My fandom has only grown from there.
