You make an astute point. These people are so blinded by the worship (which they of course deny in spite of their words to the contrary) or fear of Meat reading an opinion that may upset him a bit that they lose all perspective. God forbid Meat read a less than glowing opinion in spite of the fact that he goes on talk shows and claims to be thick-skinned which is just laughable if you've read any of his rants. The funny thing is he embarrasses himself and his posts have to be cleaned up and expunged. Try to have a valid discussion with them - even their chief, you dig,- and they will dance about your points and hurl more accusations and buzz words like "troll" at you. They can not see that you are just a real person who has real thoughts and feelings because in that world it upsets the apple cart. Yes sir, it is your site as you love to point out but your points are still questionable. Owning it doesn't make your statements right nor does appointing a clique of "moderators" who keep the riff-raff stifled while allowing free-reign to those who toe the line. The great thing is seeing which of your points they avoid - lets you know where the sore spots are. You can learn a lot about a society by the way they treat dissenters. When you can just ban them it sure is convienient, God forbid actual discussion take place( or even pre-ban them and have private conversations about people within your clique about them that you make public) | |
