I've co-written lyrics to four songs on "Words Shared With Friends", including "More Stars Than In Heaven" from my musical "Ron & Julie" that was staged in Stockholm in 2001:

The album has gotten great reviews so far, including The Public Review's Ian Foster calling it "one of the best musical theater albums of the year":

It also includes a number of stand-alone pop- and rock songs. All the songs feature vocals by professional artists working in London, incl. the West End, e.g. Will Barratt (Raoul, Phantom of the Opera).

Two of the songs I co-wrote for the album will be performed at this charity concert in St. Paul's Church, Covent Garden, London on Sunday May 18:

"In keeping with Giggin4Good's commitment to promoting and showcasing new musical theatre - previous shows have showcased songs from new musicals such as My Land's Shore, Roundabout and Based On A True Story - there will be a slight break from the Disney theme during the course of the show when songs from the score of brand new musical Shadow On The Sun will be showcased.

Shadow On The Sun is a "Sci-Fi Musical-within-a-musical" written by composer Omri Lahav and librettists/lyricists Robert Gould and Jimmy Granstrom. While telling the story of drug-addicted Sci-Fi novelist Jake Temple and the story of the book he is struggling to write - which is set in a world where a shadow on the sun forces everyone to live in perpetual darkness - the musical poses the question "does reality actually exist"? The 3-song selection from Shadow On the Sun will be performed by Keith Ramsay, Andrew Bateup, Carolyn Maitland, Jodie Steele and Shaun McCourt.

George Ure, a cast member of one of the early Giggin4Good concerts who is currently playing the role of Boq in the UK tour production of Wicked, described Giggin4Good as "a wonderfully diverse evening of entertainment in aid of a truly worthy cause". And "Giggin4Good - When You Wish Upon A Star" promises to be even more diverse and even more entertaining while equally worthy."
