While I admire Patti for going out on her own and I hope she does well, I think she's left it far too late to start a solo career. With the benefit of hindsight, the year 2000 would have been the ideal time for her to go off on her own. I think the Very Best Of era was her absolute peak with Meat Loaf and it's been a sorry slide downhill ever since. There's been very few highlights for her in the last 14 years or so and quite a few lowlights. Sad to say that I think her voice has also peaked and has got raspier in the last few years. She still sounds excellent, but how much longer does she have left before she sounds like Bonnie Tyler?
