Jim And The House Of Lords

Jim And The House Of Lords: When Karren Brady (the first and only managing director of a major British football/soccer club) appeared on the BBC's Desert Island Discs in 2007, she had to choose eight pieces of music that she could listen to while stranded. Only two of the eight were by the same composer. Jim. The two pieces were Meat's AFL and Bonnie's TEOTH. She was asked why she had chosen two Jim Steinman pieces and she replied that he was probably the most romantic songwriter in the world. Just this week it has been announced that Karren has been given a lifetime peerage to sit in the House Of Lords. This is the first time that I have heard of a member of the House Of Lords being into Jim but for all I know there could be many more Steinmaniacs sitting in there wearing their red robes.
