| Thanks for that. It was interesting to read. But they make it sound like Paris Tanz is based on DOTV Broadway when it is based on Vienna Tanz. The New York Times writes: For those who savor a good Broadway catastrophe, “Dance of the Vampires” is near the top of the shortlist of infamy. But for the Oscar-winning film director Roman Polanski, that flop 2002 musical, based on his 1967 film “The Fearless Vampire Killers,” deserves — no, demands — another chance The Hollywood Reporter made a similar comment: This open-ended Paris run, which premieres Oct. 16, could very well go the same way as the ill-fated 2002 Broadway production starring Michael Crawford, which played for just two months — unless the French are more German than we give them credit for. | |
