| I am guessing that David Sonenberg runs the John Lennon Songwriting Contest because many of the judges are managed by David. Jim, Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield, Reeve Carney, The Veronicas, Sean Paul, Prince Royce and Jimmy Cliff are all from the DAS stable. Does anyone know if any of the winners have gone on to have successful careers as songwriters? It sounds like a great idea. Full marks to David and Yoko Ono. Reeve Carney is why Michael Cohl is now on board for BOOH The Musical. MC was producing Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark on Broadway and David was negotiating with MC because Reeve was starring as Spider-Man/Peter Parker and during talks David talked MC into doing BOOH. Elva had worked on ice projects with MC decades before but it was David who brought him in. Elva got Kenny Ortega and David got MC. Two key players who are going to make Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell The Musical a massive hit. | |
