| This is good, I think. Rory Dodd makes a good job, and sounds great! I've been looping this track the whole week, over and over and over again. I get some sort of Steinman-ish feeling regarding it. Although, it is not very obvious at all.I can't put my finger on what. Maybe it's just because I knew in advance that it actually was Steinman producing the demo. Or, it may be Rory that is bringing some Steinman feeling into it. By the way, the collection of Rory demos are growing. That's fantastic!!! Hope that the golden nuggets will keep coming. How many demos do you think still are hidden in the Vaults? (Some with Holly Sherwood on lead would be great to hear as well) I wonder if it possibly exits a "Read Em' and Weep" demo with Rory? I mean, Jim produced that track on Dead Ringer and for Manilow, so it seems plausible, at least. And could it exist more Rory demos of tracks on BFG? That seems reasonably likely, right? I wish we would get a Rory album. That will probably just keep being a dream. But still, imagine what a great collection of amazing Steinman tracks it would contain, all in one album. Think a high-quality version of "A kiss.. " as an opener, into "IGLHFBOU", "MLOONAA" (with Jim's great piano thunder), .... then there are "It just won't quit" and some material from BFG. As every Steinman penned album preferably contains a duet, for example "It's a dirty job.." would fit somewhere (a stretch maybe as it is already released in a more or less identical form sans Rory's vocals). I imagine that the album ending should feature "Lost boys & Golden girls", with the ultimate ending being "Vault's of Heaven", or something like that.
