Bonnie's Favourite Albums

Bonnie was in The Express (UK) today picking her six favourite albums. Not surprisingly, she picked two Jim albums. BOOH and BFG. About BOOH: When I saw Meat on The Old Grey Whistle Test it blew me away. I told my record company I wanted to work with whoever wrote and produced it. It turned out to be the great Jim Steinman. They said he was busy until the next century but I met him in 1981 and we did two albums together. About BFG: This is bombastic and operatic. I'm still in touch with Jim and many people have told me that they fell in love to a song of his. I still play it on cassette sometimes. Her other four albums were Ike And Tina Turner (River Deep - Mountain High), Janis Joplin (Pearl), Bob Seger (Stranger In Town) and Etta James (The Right Time).
