I find it almost incredible that Jim himself (no rumor, etc.)is putting distance between himself and this project now, unless he is telling us stuff between the lines. Otherwise he's probably say nothing. I may be wrong but that is totally what I am getting from it. He is not embracing it at all beyond he liked an unfinished version of "Who Needs The Young". I also wonder if Jim used the word "were" instead of "are" intentionally. I would think he would have some say in changing the title of one of his works. Could it have been an intentional typo?? I still have hope, but this sounds a little like Bat 3 - Part 2. All they really had to do was get Jim to offer advice here and there from afar and send Rinkoff in to represent him whne they were done, then Jim give his blessing to the final product. Meat and Paul could do the rest. I just hope Jim's name is not going to be used on an album that just covers his songs with his consent rather than without it. | |
