I think Jim was trying to say things between the lines and some he did more successfully than others. I theorize that Jim was taking a piss at previously having his health and the record company not waiting used as for lack of a better word - excuses. Of course I don't see any company waiting until Jim is totally ready with a project. He had so much time to perfect "Bat" because no record company wanted it for some time and "Bat 2" was half a cover of "Pandora's Box". Jim seemed to be putting a little distance between himself and the album. They obviously need his name and to market this as a "reunion" of some sort. I don't know where the claim originated that they did not want Jim filmed in the studio came from so it is probably just chatter. I don't know if Jim ever was in the studio for this album to begin with but pictures of Jim in the studio with Meat and Paul would have been huge publicity, and I doubt Jim wants to be that identified with a project he is not in control of.
