I think Jim sold the publishing rights to most of his masterpieces for huge sums of money (although not all of them). Apparently, if they have been professionally released, you don't need permission to cover them. You just pay the people who own the publishing rights. Pat Creasaro has probably got that all figured out because he is planning to release a CD. I think. | |
