| AWW! Thanks for the kind words, protron1! Yes, indeed, for this new version of "Total Eclipse" designed just for Jeremy, Jim, Ben and I utilized a four-part backing vocal as opposed to the traditional one "turn around" as well as made sure to include a male background vocal since Jim wanted to emphasize homoerotic undertones for this new take on the tune. On that note, Jeremy sings the original lyrics - including the "you'll never be the boy you always wanted to be" and the rest - which was a VERY intentional choice as Jim wanted this version to make a clear "statement" (of course the Westlife remix Jim produced offers alternate heterosexual lyrics for when the song is sung by a male to/about a female). Additionally, Jeremy's vocalisme at the end is totally new - and, I might add, spine-tinglingly effective and quite ingeniously rendered! We couldn't be prouder of how this turned out - the Jeremy/Jim "selfie" moment only makes it THAT much more riveting and unforgettable! Rock n roll history. As for the "Paradise remix" of "Anything For Love" - adding the "Stop Right There!" and the rest was all a totally MIND-BLOWING idea that Jim and I cooked up with Ellen and Ben pulled it off EXPERTLY with the arrangement he and Ellen finely honed in the weeks leading up to the concerts. One of the big dreams for this show was to involve Ellen and her kindness and generosity in learning the "Anything For Love" Mrs. Loud section and performing it so magnificently was just the cherry on top of an impossibly decadent and rich sundae of a show. SO honored and humbled. :-) P > The end sounded different to me. I'll have another > listen. > > Saw the clips on utube.
