I thought the same thing. Strange.
There is talk of bringing back the Crystal Maze, with him as host again.
Anecdote time: I walked past Richard O'Brien on Guildford High Street (UK) in early 90's. He was carrying a large fully loaded black bin bag and wearing a long black crushed velvet coat, tight lycra leopard skin print trousers and black cowboy boots. The Police had cordoned off most of the street due to a bomb scare, and he was complaining to the officer that he had to get his laundry done. True story!
