I think I've done a thread on this before or similar, but still.
For me:
That whole middle section in "Good girls go to heaven":
Every time I try and dream you
I can't believe how hard it's been to
Conjure up your face and trace your body in the air
All the seconds go on forever
But the thirds and the fourth ones are even better
Every time I do it just a little bit longer
Every time I dream it's just a little bit stronger than real life
Love how the instrumental on Meat Loaf "Live around the world" is actually much more like the one from Pandora's Box. I guess they couldn't play what was on the album either?
The "Surf's up reprise" in "The future ain't what it used to be". Gets me every time! Like a swell of emotion!
The reprise of "Objects" or "Endless appetite" at the start of "The ball" in Tanz. Can't explain how that makes me feel. And the reprise of "Total eclipse" where Sarah is bitten by Count Von Krolock. My last response to that was: "If I ever get bitten by a vampire, they have to play that song." "Total eclipse" being in this musical totally works for me!! Even just as a musicals fan!
The guitar solo in "A kiss is a terrible thing to waste" with the orchestra. Omg...
I could go on. Recently, these lines in "Wrestle with the devil" in Whistle:
He's there in the foreboding you feel in your bones
He's there in the graveyard chipping names on the stones
He's there in your memories turning good times into bad
He's there in the future that you wish you never had
Another one I had to mention, before I forget. "Turn around bright eyes" in "Finale" from the score for "A small circle of friends".
