| Oh, I remember Maurice Duffy! It's been been sooo long ago ... and today, I'm not even sure which user name here on the message board belongs to folks I might have known way back in the jim@gospel days. As for myself, some folks might remember me, I guess I've been on the jim@gospel list from 1996 until the early 2000's, and also on the batman list during the time it existed. Does the name Nils Holland ring a bell? I posted a bunch of probably nonsensical stuff while I was active, as adolescent boys do (which I was in those days). When Tanz originally came out, I also did a quick and dirty English translation of the lyrics, which was then put into shape by Jimmy Granström and published on the Neverland Hotel website. And I also remember that in the pre-Facebook days, I coded the first version of a website where Steinfans could set up profiles with pictures of themselves and information - when I became less and less active, someone else created an improved version, but I guess by now Mr Zuckerberg has made such kind of sites obsolete. ;-) Anyway, I fondly remember the old days! Right now, when I think about it, I remember with special fondness that on the batman list, we had a weekly voting for the best Steinsong of the week - every list member could vote, and once per week someone announced the results. Of course, I'm still a Steinfan, I read the message board occasionally and I've even been registered for quite a while and posted a few times. However, I sure can tell you how much less time you have for such things when you're no longer an adolescent boy, but a working adult! Back in the days I would probably have said that working adults suck, hehehe! ;-) Enough said - after this post, I might be gone again for a while (...like a bat out of hell!), but I sure want to send all the best wishes to all Steinfans in the world, both old and new!
