My Facebook friends have already seen this but I figured I would cross-post it here too. Last night I went to see Cyndi Lauper here in Raleigh NC. It was a fantastic show, and she donated all the proceeds from the concert to local human rights charities. But the highlight for me was meeting her backup singer - Elaine Caswell! From Pandora's Box to the Over the Top/Dream Engine shows, she's one of my favorite Steinman interpreters. She was so sweet to meet us afterwards and sign my Pandora's Box poster. Thanks Elaine!
