AFL sounds like live vocals from the 90s.
I don't have the US single with AFL acoustic on it. Is it maybe same version?
I hope they haven't simply replaced Patti's live vocals from a 90s live version with Imelda May. But it is looking like that is what it is??
Have to listen to entire album to form proper judgement but these demos make me a bit less excited than I was when I heard Souvenirs on its own.
Prize Fight Lover sounds more demo like than the awesome version we had from HCTB. Meat's vocals are fine I think but the backing sounds very dry and simple. Not sure if it livens up later.
Not sure about some of the backing vocals on the album at the moment.
Still looking forward to the full release.
