From Manchester Oxford Road Station (nearest one to the Opera House, as far as I know) to London St Pancras is about three hours by train (North West to South East England). The last train would leave at around 8:00pm. Obviously trains from Manchester run much later, but it's quite the distance so you'd have to catch an earlier one. I'll be travelling from about an hour outside London so I'll be staying in a hotel for the night as getting back is basically impossible, as far as I can tell. I hope that helps!
