I know that. But Jim has told some porkies in his time too. Actually there's an article where he proclaims lying to be a good thing

Also described.

I don't know what to believe. It's not as clear as they paint. In 1986, in BBIS promotion, Meat mentions the possibility of doing a BAT II. Meat and Jim had already begun to talk about it even then. It's possible that Jim had an explosive productive period and intended to give it all to Meat. For some reason he did Pandora's Box (I still think Sonenberg distracted him because he was disgusted with the idea of working with Meat again. This is only my belief though, there is no evidence. But I wouldn't be surprised). Why would he do Pandora's Box when he was meant to do Bat II? Surely both concepts would be a big production for Jim? So why did he do it? He could have simply committed to BAT II all along. I believe if this is the case then nearly everything (with the exception of "Safe Sex") was written for BAT II. "Original Sin" was even performed in concert in 1988, a year before PB was released. All of the songs were covered by Meat at a later point w/ the exception of "Safe Sex".
