| And since we're talking about the board, I'll mention that I much prefer the flat mode to the threaded mode. For one thing, the threaded mode splits into multiple conversations depending where a response is added; it's like reading a Choose Your Own Adventure novel, going back and forth. Flat mode has everything in one place. Also, threaded stays chronological on the board by the first message, not the most recent. Flat mode puts active conversations on top so they are easier to find. I'm not suggesting we eliminate threaded. There may be people who prefer it. But I think flat should be the default setting. | The thing I like most about Facebook is the thing I like least about Facebook. It's all immediate and fast. Topics don't seem to get as deep. I don't care for Mr. Zuckerberg or his ethics if it is true he stole the idea for FB. I think he settled that case rather than go to court which is odd. | |
