Most of us are hanging about on the Facebook group.

I don't know if any of us know the answer to your big question, and I don't know if it's helpful to speculate?

I've wondered about this issue too - it's one of the factors that makes an English or American version of "Dance" with the original direction highly unlikely. Any new version will have to downplay Polanski's involvement significantly.
