Word's out this morning that there will be a prequel to the film Grease, called Summer Lovin', about Danny and Sandy's holiday fling during the summer before their senior year. Details are spotty so far.
Obviously, Jim is unlikely to write the songs for this movie (don't even know yet if it's a musical), but I like to imagine what his version of the show would be like. I also like to imagine it will be a 90-minute, sung-through rockabilly opera, which I absolutely would love to hear Jim write, as ridiculous as the idea is. (Which is why Jim is right for it.)
