Just booked my tickets. Now I have to find a place to stay while I'm in New York.
Can anyone recommend a decent (or almost decent) low cost hotel not far from a subway stop? Most of the listings in the AAA guide are well over $100 a night, and given my theater and airline costs I'd like to economize on my accommodations.
When I first started planning, when the NY shows were announced, I found a listing for a funky hotel somewhere not far from the theater, but I cannot find my notes now. It was on the order of $80 per night, I think. Any ideas?
