I found out the news of Jim’s passing from a text message from my sister. She instantly thought of me as she knew how much his songs mean to me. I’m not really a social medial person so I don’t know how long I would’ve gone on without finding out had she not messaged me. I probably would’ve randomly checked this site one day and been horrified.

I agree his death should have been international headlines, especially since Meat has been extremely popular all around the world. Remember one of his concert riders years ago demanded venues bill him as a worldwide superstar but really rightfully so. He earned it.

There does seem to be nothing but an overwhelming amount of respect shown towards Jim’s work and career. Even if it wasn’t quite international headlines, lots of people seem very sad and shocked.
