I agree that Jim's passing should have been headline news. Well, I am only talking about the UK. I don't know about everywhere else. Maybe if others noticed Jim in the news in other places like New York, then it would be great if they could post about it. But there was a huge reaction from the rock media. Like Rolling Stone Magazine for example. Classic Rock. There was a huge reaction from great musicians who had worked with Jim. Like Bonnie, Meat and Andrew Lloyd Webber. But I couldn't find any mention of Jim's passing on the various news channels. Perhaps there was and I just missed it. I hope so. But what Jim achieved in the UK was amazing. He wrote a West End show that ran for three years. No Matter What from that show is the most successful single from a show in UK history. TEOTH is the nation's favourite karaoke song and the most used single song for advertising ever. Jim's solo album Bad For Good was a top ten album here. And of course there are the BOOH albums and the stage version. I would have thought the passing of such a great artist would have been a major news thing. But the outpouring of love and respect from fans and the music media has been fantastic. I know that it would all mean a lot to Jim.
