I'm sure we've all heard the story about how Meat boycotted the Levi Strauss company since childhood, after seeing the commercial that said, "Poor, fat Marvin can't wear Levis."
The song For Crying Out Loud contains the prominent line, "Can't you see my faded Levis bursting apart?" I seem to recall Jim admitting this was him sneaking in a boner joke, but was it also a joke at Meat's expense, making him endorse Levis? It would have been easy to change the line to "faded blue jeans."
